End of Term - kayaking

The last day of term 4 2016 is Friday 16 December. School closes at the earlier time of 1.30 pm. Families are welcome to collect their children from 12.30 pm onwards. 

We wish you all a very happy Christmas and holiday break and look forward to seeing you back in the new year.

Thank you Westie Pies

One of our teachers, Ellen Buith, has won $1000 through a competition held by Westie Pies. She and her Rutherford 3 class were presented with the 'cheque' by representatives of the Auckland Blues team.The money will go towards sports equipment. Thank you Westie Pies and the Blues!




Our Powhiri Welcome to New Families

On Friday 4 March we held our Powhiri welcome to new families for 2016 at Base School. It was lovely to see so many families attend. Thanks to the Taonga Nui group for their wonderful performance, and to our Kaumatua, Billy Retimana for his support for this event.
