Welcome to Arohanui

We hope you enjoy looking around our website where you will find information about our school, our students and our learning community. Arohanui is a special place where all learners are valued, included and celebrated...

Dear families and whanau of Arohanui

As we go about our work and lives over the next several weeks, we will all still be coming to terms with the gravity and sheer horror of the events of the 15th March. This country has been deeply hurt and the scar from this will be with us for the rest of our lives. The very fact we can be so vulnerable in one of the safest places on earth is a shock and concern for all of us. As a nation, I imagine we will be doing some profound soul searching and deep reflecting on the real pulse of our society as well as looking at some more practical actions moving forward. All this brings home to me just how important the work we do is. Creating Community. In this we help bring about a more understanding, diverse and caring community. I know all our hearts go out to our Muslim families and the Muslim and wider community of Christchurch.

Take care of each other and talk with each other.

Aroha ki a koutou katoa.
